C Aspa Scorb is an enriched Vitamin C supplement specially formulated as a mineral transporter.

Vitamin C, L-ascorbic acid, or simply ascorbate, is a water-soluble nutrient. In the body, it works as an antioxidant, helping to protect cells from free-radical damages. Our bodies produce free radical compounds when they convert food into energy. We are also exposed to free radicals in the environment from cigarette smoke, air pollution, and ultraviolet light from the sun.

Our bodies also need Vitamin C to produce collagen, a protein needed to help wounds heal and Vitamin C supports the absorption of iron from plant-based foods and supports the proper working of the immune system.

As a mineral ascorbate, Vitamin C has a somewhat higher pH than it does as l-ascorbic acid alone. This higher pH improves its bowel tolerance.

C Aspa Scorb is also enriched with zinc, manganese, magnesium, selenium, and potassium, essential trace minerals.
